Landed!

I finalment ha arribat la data tan esperada per a tots els alumnes! El diumenge 14 de maig, dia en què comencem la segona part de l'intercanvi amb els nostres companys de Scala College d'Alphen an den Rijn. Aquest cop som nosaltres des de Sant Gregori que viatgem a les terres dels molins de vent, les tulipes, les bicicletes i la terra que va néixer Van Gogh.

Després d'una gran paciència al taulell de facturació de l'aeroport de Barcelona i algun imprevist d'última hora a l'aeroport de Schiphol, arribàvem a Alphen a les quatre de la tarda. El retrobament va ser molt emotiu; no el podem explicar amb paraules. 

Eindelijk was het moment waar onze leerlingen zo naar uitketen daar! Op zondag 14 mei begonnen we met het tweede deel van onze uitwisseling met onze partners van het Scala College in Alphen aan den Rijn. Deze keer zijn wij het, uit Sant Gregori, die naar het land van windmolens, tulpen, fietsen en het land waar Van Gogh geboren is reisden.

Na veel geduld bij het moeilijke baarden op de luchthaven van Barcelona en onverwachte busproblemen op de luchthaven Schiphol arriveerden we in Alphen rond 4 uur in de middag. Het herzien met de Nederlandse leerlingen was erg mooi; het is bijna niet mogelijk om dit in woorden uit te drukken!

And finally the anticipated date for our students arrived! Sunday 14th May we start the second part of the exchange with our partners from Scala College in Alphen aan den Rijn. This time it's us from Sant Gregori who travel to the land of windmills, tulips, bikes and the land where Van Gogh was born.

After a lot of patience in the boarding hall at the aiport in Barcelona and last minute unexpected problems at Schiphol Airport, we arrived in Alphen at 4 in the afternoon. The reunion was very emotional; we cannot put it in words.
