El dijous ha sigut un dia molt complet; esportiu i cultural. L'hem passat a La Haia on hem anat a la platja i al centre de la ciutat. Fer surf ha sigut una activitat molt divertida. Posar-nos el vestit de neoprè ha sigut la tasca més complicada; la resta ha sigut bufar i fer ampolles! Un monitor ens han explicat els orígens d'aquest esport i la tècnica. Llavors ens han dividit amb grups reduïts de manera que ens hem endinsat a l'aigua per tal de començar a practicar sobre la planxa!
Al Museu Escher hem estat veient in situ els seus quadres de perspectives amb elements inimaginables, profunditats en paisatge italians, mosaics metamòrfics i il·lusions òptiques sorprenents. Pràcticament tots ens emportem les idees d'infinit i eternitat d'Escher en forma de souvenir.
A quarts de vuit del vespre, la cantina de Scala College era plena de gom a gom i els estudiants van ballar al ritme de la música més actual que ens va regalar en Ruben; el millor DJ del moment!
I la nostra estada a Alphen s'acaba amb un divendres que comença ple de jocs de cucanya i tot seguit anem a la piscina. Anem omplint el nostre quadern de moments viscuts plegats com ara el dir adéu als nostres amics. Aquesta experiència serà un record de per vida!
Thursday has been a very complete day; sporty and cultural. We spent the day in Den Haag where we ent to the beach and at the city centre. Surfing has been an amusing activity. Putting on our wetsuit was the most difficult part; the rest was easy going! A monitor told us about the origins and tecnique of this sport. Then we were divided into small groups so that we went into the water in order to start practising on the board!
At Escher Museum we have been observing in situ his paintings of perspectives with unimaginable elements, depths in Italian landscapes, metamorphic mosaics and surprising optical illusions. Most of us will bring home Escher's ideas of infinite and eternity by means of a souvenir.
Around half past seven, the canteen in Scala College was full of students who were dancing at the rhythm of the most trendy music by Ruben; the best DJ of the moment!
And our stay in Alphen finished on a Friday which started full of old Dutch games and then we went to the swimming pool. We are filling our trip diary with moments lived together such as saying goodbye to our friends. This experience will be with us forever!
